GREENWOOD
Jackie D. Baird, 69, of Greenwood, passed away on July 29, 2024. She was born on September 8, 1954 in Beech Grove to the late Elvis A. and Eleanor J. (McLain) Williams.
Jackie received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from IU School of Nursing, graduating in 1992. She worked several years as an R.N. and then went to work at Astra Zeneca in pharmaceutical sales.
She enjoyed gardening, upholstery, arts and crafts and recently started painting.
Jackie is survived by her son, Nicholas (Raquel) Stadtmiller; grandson, Matthias Stadtmiller; niece, Amanda Williams, and her beloved chocolate Labrador, Toby.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Baird, and a brother, Daniel Williams.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 2, 2024 at G. H. Herrmann Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 1605 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, IN. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at the funeral home.
Jackie will be laid to rest in The Gardens at Olive Branch Cemetery and Mausoleum Park, Greenwood, IN.
