Franklin

Battery

2000 block of Bridlewood Drive: Reported at 7:03 p.m. Monday that two people were arguing inside the residence and that a man had pushed a woman down. Once the police confronted the man he tried to leave and was taken into custody, the man was arrested on charges of battery causing injury and resisting law enforcement.

Hit and Run

N. Morton St. and Canary Creek Drive: A woman reported at 1:44 p.m. Monday that a man on a motorcycle had rear ended her. The man said he did not have a driver’s license or insurance and offered to give her money if she did not call the police. She called the police and he left the scene and was later arrested on multiple charges.

Identity Theft

2801 N. Morton St., police department: A woman reported at 3:05 p.m. Monday that someone had stolen her identity and she was locked out of everything.

Narcotics

E. King St. and N. Middleton Drive: An officer reported at 6:27 p.m. Monday that during a traffic stop he detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. After a search a plastic bag with marijuana was found and the driver was issued a summons for possession of marijuana and a warning for distracted driving.

Personal-injury crashes

1:44 p.m. Monday — Westview Drive and Canary Creek Drive. A man, 37, reported having a fracture/dislocation to his elbow/lower arm.

7 a.m. Monday — U.S. 31 N. and Paul Hand Blvd. A woman, 32, reported having a fracture/dislocation to her elbow/lower arm.

Property-damage crashes

10:53 p.m. Monday — I-65 S. at mile marker 90.6

5:40 a.m. Monday — 2354 N. Morton St., Meijer gas station

Theft

1000 block of Pebble Beach Drive: A woman reported at 9:45 a.m. Monday that 100 feet of pipe had been stolen out of her driveway.

Identity Theft

100 block of Surina Way: Reported at 11:35 a.m. Monday that an identity theft had occurred.

Personal-injury crashes

4:10 p.m. Monday — Airport Parkway and County Line Road. A man, 31, reported having a fracture/dislocation to his knee/lower leg/foot.

8:54 p.m. Friday — W. Worthsville Road and Summerfield Park. A juvenile, 14, reported having injury to their knee/lower leg/foot.

1000 block of E. Murry St.: Reported at 7:31 a.m. Tuesday that a residential entry had occurred.

Thefts

1133 N. Emerson Ave., Walmart: Reported at 8:42 p.m. Monday that a woman was arrested for theft.

562 Fry Road, Best Buy: Reported at 7:38 p.m. Monday that a theft had occurred.

60 block of Airport Parkway: Reported at 6:17 p.m. Monday that a theft had occurred.

1133 N. Emerson Ave., Walmart: Reported at 2:44 p.m. Monday that someone was caught shoplifting and issued a summons for theft.

150 Marlin Drive, Meijer: Reported at 2:32 p.m. Monday that a theft had occurred.

Personal-injury crash

3 p.m. Sunday — State Road 44 and County Road 700 E., Franklin. A woman, 50 reported having contusion/bruise with injury to her abdomen/pelvis.
