Indy South Greenwood Airport will host its annual Airport Day this weekend.
Airport Day is set to take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the airport, 897 Airport Parkway. Admission and parking are free for attendees.
Attendees can “experience the skies” with paid aircraft and helicopter rides available for all ages. The Experimental Aircraft Association will offer free Young Eagle Flights to kids ages 8-17, with online reservations available at eaa1354.org, city officials said.
Local flight training schools will be available for interactive opportunities and to share information for those interested in flying. There will also be World War II re-enactors, flight simulators and food vendors, officials said.
