The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and RecruitMilitary is hosting an Indianapolis Veterans Job Fair.
The hiring event is Thursday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lucas Oil Stadium, 500 S. Capital Ave., Indianapolis. This event is available to all transitioning military, veterans, military spouses and dependents.
The fair has 63 registered employers offering career opportunities in project management; human resources, transportation/logistics, healthcare, information technology, government and more, according to the event website.
Attendees can expect to build their network, make new professional contacts and discover job leads. These job fairs are the perfect time to practice elevator pitches and interact with representatives from all kinds of companies, the organizer says.
