Greenwood’s Market Plaza project is entering a new stage.
Starting Tuesday, access to Market Plaza for The Suds, 350 Market Plaza, and the Walker Building and Rental, 350 S. Madison Ave., properties will be from newly constructed driveways near the Pleasant Creek Bridge, city officials said in a construction update.
Construction limits will be extended south and east along Market Plaza to approximately the end of the Jockamo’s building. Miscellaneous construction work will, at times, also extend toward Madison Avenue, city officials say.
This change in phasing is due to encountering an unknown storm sewer during construction. The change will allow the contractor to properly connect the previously unknown storm sewer to the storm sewer being constructed with this project, city officials say.
