Utility work on State Road 252 in Edinburgh to begin Monday

The Indiana Department of Transportation officials say utility relocation work will begin on or after Monday along State Road 252 in Edinburgh.

The work will take place between Lincoln Street and the bridge over the Big Blue River. It is expected to take up to six months, weather permitting. Motorists should expect lane closures while utility work is in progress, INDOT officials say.

This utility relocation work is part of a planned district pavement improvement project that will take place at a later time, officials say.

INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution and avoid distractions when traveling near work zones.
