Leadership Johnson County to host burnout workshop

Leadership Johnson County will host a workshop on burnout this month.

In the session dubbed “Extinguish Burnout: Leading the way out of burnout,” attendees will learn simple and free things that they can do to understand how burnout functions, what feeds it and what extinguishes it. The workshop will be held on Sept. 27 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Johnson County Armory, 325 Minuteman Way, Franklin.

Learning objectives for the workshop will be:

  • Understand burnout and the factors that lead to it
  • Identify activities and perspectives that reduce burnout
  • Resolve sources of friction that make burnout probable

Registration is required. The cost is $59 per person for Leadership Johnson County Signature Program graduates, Franklin College alumni, Franklin and Indy Chamber of Commerce members, and Aspire members. The general public can attend for $69 per person. Group discounts are available.
