Greenwood kicks off fall concert series

Summer may be winding down

But that doesn’t mean that outdoor live music has to stop.

Greenwood will once again feature its Fall Concert Series, a companion to its summer musical performances, for four shows this year. Each will be held at the Greenwood Amphitheater, with concerts starting at 6 p.m.

Founded in 2022, the fall concert series was created to extend the use of the amphitheater for the public. The first year, approximately 4,000 people came out to the series of shows. The amphitheater itself is connected to the community through a vast trail network spanning over 50 miles. The venue, which can accommodate up to 3,000 per concert, features enhanced natural landscaping and native plants.

The lineup for the 2024 Fall Concert Series includes:

Sept. 21: Milligan

Sept. 28: Blue River Band

Oct. 5: Der Polkatz

Oct. 12: Dueling Pianos

Also on Oct. 5, the parks department will stage a special Oktoberfest, presented by MIBOR. People can enjoy the oompah music of Der Polkatz while enjoying beer and root beer stein competitions during their performances.

Show off your best themed attire in our costume contest at the end of the show. Savor special German food offerings from the Smokehouse, adding to the festive atmosphere.

All events are free and open to the public.
