Juanda Ruth Hoskins, 71 of Franklin, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024.
She was born on April 30, 1953 in Rome, Indiana to Alfred A. Thomas and Ruth J. Gruver Thomas. Juanda married Stanley C. Hoskins on August 29, 1994, who lovingly survives. Also surviving are children, Anthony (Laura) Hoskins and Andrew Hoskins; grandchildren, Summer A. Hoskins and Jacob A. Hoskins; three sisters, Karen F. (Thomas) Waninger (husband, Mark), Lilith A. (Thomas) Reeves and E. Darlene (Thomas) Etienne (husband, Hubert); sisters-in-law, Leslie Thomas and Karen (Hoskins) Collins; brothers-in-law, Brian Hoskins and Michael Hoskins; four nieces and four nephews; two great nieces and seven great nephews and two great-great nieces and two great-great nephews. She was preceded in passing by her parents; brothers, Arnold R. Thomas and Robert K. Thomas and brother-in-law, Clark Reeves.
Juanda was a graduate of Perry County High School. She received her bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology from Indiana State University and her MBA from Indiana Weslyan.
Juanda worked in communications management at Cummins Engine for over twenty years, retiring in 2012.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, September 14th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Additional Visitation for family and friends will be on September 28th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Rome Church in Rome, Indiana.
