Vivienne Lewis Summers

INDIANAPOLIS

Vivienne Lewis Summers, 77, formerly of Greenwood, passed away Wednesday evening, September 4, 2024.

She was born July 14, 1947, in Columbus, OH to Conrad Vivian McNelly and Meriam Dittmar McNelly. Survivors include her husband, Kelvin Summers of Indianapolis, daughter Tina Murray of Gold River California, stepdaughter Tasha Summers of Amarillo Texas, and stepson Zachary Summers of Indianapolis.

She was preceded in death by her father Conrad, her mother Meriam, and her stepmother, Aletha.

Vivienne was an accounting assistant for many years at Wagner CPA in Greenwood, where she loved supporting clients and her incredible boss. She was also a long-time member of the Greenwood Presbyterian Church where she sang second soprano in the choir.

Vivienne had a love for animals, as evidenced by the many dogs and cats she had throughout her life. She was also an avid supporter of her daughter’s equestrian adventures and loved being at the stable and at horse shows. She enjoyed sewing and quilting in her spare time.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service &Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main Street Greenwood, on Sunday, September 15th. Visitation will take place from 1:00-2:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM.
