Franklin
Depriving owner of vehicle
300 block of N. Main St.: A man reported at 12:11 a.m. Wednesday that he let a woman he met a few days ago borrow his vehicle and she said she was going to be gone for only 30 minutes. Nearly five hours later she had yet to return the vehicle. Police located the vehicle in Greenwood and the woman was arrested for a warrant and the vehicle was returned to the man.

700 block of Timeless Run: Reported at 11:20 a.m. Tuesday that a fraud had occurred.
18 Providence Drive, Everwise Credit Union: Reported at 4:58 p.m. Tuesday that a man was arrested for fraud.

10:07 p.m. Saturday — County Line Road and U.S. 31. A man, 20, reported having minor bleeding with injury to his knee/lower leg/foot. A man, 19, reported having minor bleeding with injury to his knee/lower leg/foot.
3:56 p.m. Saturday — State Road 135 and Smith Valley Road. A woman, 49, reported having pain and injury to her elbow/lower arm. A man, 77, reported having pain and injury to his hip/upper leg. A man, 42, reported having minor bleeding with injury to his face.

Thefts
1133 N. Emerson Ave., Walmart: Reported at 7:29 p.m. Tuesday that a man was arrested for theft, possession of a narcotic drug and was wanted on a Marion County warrant.
1251 U.S. 31 N., Dicks Sporting Goods: Reported at 6:17 p.m. Tuesday that a theft had occurred.
377 Westridge Blvd., Greenwood Health: Reported at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday that a theft had occurred.
150 Marlin Drive, Meijer: Reported at 12:19 a.m. Tuesday that a man was issued a summons to appear in court for three counts of theft.
Johnson County
Narcotics
W. Smith Valley Road and S. State Road 135, Greenwood: An officer reported at 3:14 a.m. Wednesday that he located a vehicle that was reported taken from a Franklin resident. The vehicle was at a gas station in Greenwood and the officer approached the driver, knew it was the suspected woman and placed her in handcuffs. After a search of the vehicle several false documents were located and the woman denied having anything illegal on her. Once arriving at the jail, jail staff performed a body scan and found narcotics and paraphernalia in her groin area.
