Boys tennis

Warriors blank Braves

No. 24 Whiteland was a 5-0 winner over Indian Creek on Tuesday. Spencer Gillespie, A.J. Stephenson and Jeremiah Hurt won their respective singles matches in straight sets for the Warriors (17-4), Gavin Stubbe and Isaac Phegley rolled at first doubles and Tysen McGary and Quintin Gieseking picked up a point at second doubles.

Girls volleyball

Trojans sweep Olympians

Class 4A No. 5 Center Grove coasted to a 25-8, 25-10, 25-20 victory over Columbus East on Tuesday. The Trojans improved to 17-5 on the season.

Girls soccer

Whiteland shuts out Artesians

Madison Fleury’s three-goal effort powered Whiteland to a 5-0 rout of Martinsville on Tuesday. Rhianna Hardy and Kinley Waalkens also tallied goals for the Warriors (10-3, 4-1 Mid-State).

Grizzly Cubs fall to Cougars

Franklin dropped a back-and-forth battle with Bloomington North on Tuesday, 5-3. Matt Payne scored all three goals for the Grizzly Cubs (1-12-1), while Ayb Moore had a pair of assists and Colin Anderson totaled 17 saves.
