Restore Old Town Greenwood will host its annual Community Clean-Up Day on Saturday.
Community members are invited to participate in Restore Old Town Greenwood’s 13th annual clean-up day, which focuses on cleaning up Old Town. Volunteers will meet in the Greenwood City Center parking lot, 300 S. Madison Ave., by 10 a.m., where they will divide up and collect litter from the area, according to ROTG.
Gloves and trash bags will be provided. All ages are welcome to attend, but younger children must be supervised, organizers say.
Jockamo Upper Crust Pizza, a friend and sponsor of ROTG, will provide free pizza for volunteers afterwards. The organization’s friends and sponsors at the Greenwood Fire Department will provide free bottled water as well, according to ROTG.
