INDIANAPOLIS
William “Bill” J. Fehlinger, 76 of Indianapolis passed away October 7, 2024. Bill was born September 24, 1948, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Irvin J. &Jennie A. Fehlinger.
Bill’s academic journey culminated in earning a master’s degree from the University of Phoenix. He served as a system analyst with Anthem until his retirement in 2019.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Bill was an avid lover of the outdoors. He found joy in tennis, golf, woodworking, and loved to work on his John Deere tractors. Bill enjoyed spending time with his little miniature Schnauzer Be Be and his daughter Emily along with close family and friends at his Lake House.
Bill’s memory will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Emily J. Fehlinger; his sister, Pamela (Sue) Thieman; and his brother, Stephen A. Fehlinger. In additions to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Arita Fehlinger.
Calling will be Friday October 25th from 11:00 am to 1:00pm at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service &Crematory, Greenwood Chapel 481 W. Main Street, Greenwood with a service at 1:00pm. He will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation can be made to Our Lil Bit of Heaven, at www.bitofheaven.org.
