GREENWOOD

Hazel June Harbert, 84 of Greenwood, IN passed away Friday, October 18, 2024, at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis, IN surrounded by her loving family.

June was born March 4, 1940, in Waldron, Shelby County, IN. She married David Eugene Harbert on June 3, 1962, in North Vernon, IN; he preceded her in death on July 12, 2018.

She was a graduate of Jennings County High School.

June had been an x ray technician for St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove and a loving homemaker.

She was a member of Southwood Church in Indianapolis.

Mom loved cooking and loved her family. We lost a beautiful soul, but Heaven was where she was ready to go.

She was such a great mom and Nanny and one of the most selfless person we know. Even being sick she tried taking care of everyone else, but herself.

She went to Heaven surrounded by all her family. She was an awesome mom and Nanny. She will truly be missed and much loved by so many.

Although our hearts are broken, we know where she is and she know gets to see Jesus and dad, all the family that has gone before.

She loved her family, loved cooking for everyone, and loved to spoil her grand kids and even her grown kids. I am thankful we will see her again someday.

She would tell everyone she met, Have a Blessed Day. She was a beautiful soul.
