Brenda K Page, a beacon of love and faith, passed away on October 16, 2024, at the age of 68. Born on July 13, 1956, in Johnson Co., IN, Brenda’s life was a testament to the power of kindness and the strength of family bonds. She departed from this world in Indianapolis, IN, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Brenda was the heart of her family, a loving mother to her daughter Jodi Scheckles and her two sons, Brian (Kim) and Randy (Brittany) Scheckles. She was a grandmother to Hunter, Braeden, and Randilyn, who will carry the warmth of her love forever in their hearts. Brenda was a beloved sister to Shan Sturgeon, Linda (Bernie) Piotrowski, Benny Sturgeon, and Chip (Sharon) Sturgeon. Her life was a beautiful tapestry woven with the threads of the countless lives she touched, including her many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Martha K. Sturgeon, who instilled in her the values of compassion and devotion that defined her every action.
Brenda’s presence was a source of comfort and joy to her family and friends. She was the epitome of a loving and thoughtful individual, always placing the needs of others before her own. Her ability to find the good in every situation and her unshakeable faith were the cornerstones of her character.
As we bid farewell to Brenda K Page, we celebrate a life lived with purpose and grace. Her memory will continue to guide and inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. Brenda’s spirit, characterized by love and thoughtfulness, will forever be a guiding light for her family, friends, and all who were blessed by her presence. Funeral services will be Monday, October 28,2024 at 3:00 pm at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service &Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main Street, Greenwood, with visitation prior from 1:00pm to time of service at 3:00pm.
