RuthAnn Guiliani

INDIANAPOLIS

RuthAnn Cassady Guiliani, 92, passed away on October 21, 2024 with her family by her side. She was born on June 8, 1932 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Constance Vaughn Cassady and Harvey Cassady. She was the third of three children, including brother Edward Cassady and sister Mary Jo Cassady Bradford.

RuthAnn was a graduate of Manual High School in Indianapolis. Most of her professional career was spent as a secretary at the University of Indianapolis. However, her axis was always her husband Vince, whom she married in1952, and her family. Her husband Vince survives, as do their sons Bruce (Kathy) Guiliani and Steve Guiliani, and grandchildren Brent (Ashley) Guiliani, Kara (Keith) Cecil, Cecilia Guiliani, Sophia Guiliani, and Vincent Guiliani, and bonus grandchildren Katie (Argen) West and Sean (Amanda) Gainey. She and Vince have six great grandchildren including Katelyn, Kiersten, and Kevin Cecil, Blake and Anna Guiliani, and honorary great grandchild Cary West.

RuthAnn’s life was a template for how to lead a life full of joy, contentment, and adventure. She married someone she fell in love with at a young age, and they worked as a team in everything they did for 72 years. Their love never wavered. She prioritized her family, and was a steadfast friend to those she had known since childhood, as well as new friends she made at all stages of life. She was always curious, and meticulously planned travel adventures around the world. Throughout her life, she continued to grow in areas of interest such as volunteering, painting, and sewing crafts. She knew herself well and knew what was required to be fulfilled. She was an eternally supportive and involved wife, mother, aunt, and grandmother. RuthAnn was a very unassuming person who never wanted attention drawn to herself and her many attributes, but few were more deserving. The love, warmth, and acceptance she radiated will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
