Several road closures and traffic changes are planned for downtown Indianapolis for Taylor Swift’s three-day concert weekend.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department announced the closures and changes from Nov. 1 to 4 in a community message last week. With hundreds of thousands of fans expected in Swift City, these closures are intended to ensure the safety of concertgoers and community members, police say.
IMPD officials also encourage everyone to plan ahead and allow extra time to get downtown, as traffic will be heavier than usual. The public should consider using IndyGo or ride-share options to avoid parking congestion, the message says.
Traffic and road closures may change based on real-time conditions, so IMPD officials are asking for patience and understanding during these fluid situations.
