Wondering what to do with political signs after the election? Johnson County Recycling District has a solution.
Political yard signs are made from plastic, but cannot be recycled in curbside programs. However, the Johnson County Recycling District will accept political signs for recycling at its Franklin office, 900 Arvin Drive through Dec. 31.
The recycling program is free of charge.
Residents are asked to remove mud from the sign legs before dropping them off.
