Patty Lou Yaste

<p>NOBLESVILLE</p>
<p>Patty Lou Yaste, 78, of Noblesville, and formerly of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2016.</p>
<p>She was born Sept. 4, 1937, in Muncie, the daughter of George and Inez Cole. Patty received a teaching degree from Ball State University, as well as earning her master’s degree from Indiana University.</p>
<p>Patty was a math and science teacher and taught school for many years in Edinburgh. While living in Cape Coral, Patty taught at several local schools and also worked for Publix supermarkets.</p>
<p>She loved traveling, taking cruises, bowling, and was a talented seamstress.</p>
<p>Patty is survived by her husband of 54 years, John Yaste. She also is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Melanie and Craig Edling of Evansville; her sons-and daughters-in-law, David and Anne Yaste of Noblesville, and Jon and Missy Yaste of Greenwood; and her son, Brett Yaste of Fort Myers, Florida. </p>
<p>Patty also is survived by her grandchildren, Steven Edling, Damian Edling, Phillip Edling, Abigail Yaste, Brianna Hettinger, Megan Yaste, Morgan Yaste and Troy Yaste; her great-grandchildren, Brianna Edling, Smith Edling and Ollie Edling; her niece, Judy Barnes; and her faithful canine companion, Adrey.</p>
<p>As were Patty’s wishes, there will be no services, and cremation will be accorded.</p>

<p>In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Hamilton County Humane Society.</p>
