<p>NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE</p>
<p>Darcie Inez Short, 88, of Nashville, Tennessee, formerly of Greenwood passed away, Tuesday, May 31, 2016.</p>
<p>She was born Aug. 31, 1927, to James R. and Ola (Newman) Dodson.</p>
<p>Darcie was a member of the Church of Christ.</p>
<p>She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leon J. Short; son, Michael W. Short and brothers, Ermel L., Ervin Ray and Wamon Clyde.</p>
<p>Darcie is survived by her daughter, M. Elaine Terrell (Champ); six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.</p>
<p>Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, also in the funeral home.</p>
