Marjorie Ragsdale Moyer

Marjorie Ragsdale Moyer, 91, died April 27, 2021 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Marjorie Ragsdale was born December 3, 1929 to parents Forrest V. Ragsdale and Marjorie Clark Ragsdale in Mansfield, OH. The family, including older brother John Clark Ragsdale, lived in several cities in Ohio before moving to Franklin, Indiana.

Marjorie attended Franklin College where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. Marjorie became an X-Ray technician and worked at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis as well as Johnson County Hospital in Franklin, Indiana.

Marjorie married Herman P. Moyer in 1958. Their family including 3 children, Mikel P. Moyer, Jan E. Moyer and Alan C Moyer and lived in Franklin, Indiana until 1968 before moving to Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Marjorie was a sports enthusiast her entire life. She was an accomplished golfer who participated in Indiana State Golf tournaments. Marjorie was active in her children lives and was a senior girl scout leader as well as a cub scout leader. Marjorie was also a member of the Tri Kappa.

Marjorie is survived by Mikel P. Moyer, wife Margaret; Jan M. Early; Alan C Moyer, wife Lauren; grandchildren, Preston, Ryan, Erick, Jack, Allison, Ben and Jeffrey; great-grandchildren, Maleek, Alaysia, Bo, Amareona, Lily, and Eliana.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Herman P. Moyers; and great-granddaughter, Malia Rose Ruiz.

Funeral service 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Funeral Home with visitation from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. prior to the service. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery, Franklin, Indiana on Monday, May 3, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.
