<p>A Franklin police officer’s squad car was damaged during a crash Monday night.</p>
<p>The driver of the other vehicle complained of shoulder pain and was taken to the hospital by his parents, Franklin police said.</p>
<p>The Franklin officer, Kody Martin, was not injured. He was on duty at the time of the crash, Franklin police deputy chief Chris Tennell said.</p>
<p>Both vehicles had substantial damage, Tennell said.</p>
<p>The accident happened at the intersection of Westview Drive and Jefferson Street about 10:30 p.m. Monday and is under investigation. Both drivers said they had a green light to proceed through the intersection.</p>
