Judy Butler

<p>FRANKLIN</p>
<p>Judy Butler, 77, of Franklin, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, July 28, 2016, in Franklin.</p>
<p>She was born Aug. 3, 1938, the daughter of Richard Smith and Lucille (Reynolds) Smith.</p>
<p>She married her husband of 53 years Paul Butler in January 1963.</p>
<p>She was a member of Southside Reformed Presbyterian Church of Indianapolis.</p>
<p>She retired from Gray Road Baptist Church as church secretary.</p>
<p>She loved her work and belonged to a ministry to cancer patients called Hope in Crisis. Family and friends were Judy’s delight.</p>
<p>She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Julie Lacy.</p>
<p>She is survived by her husband Paul Butler; two daughters, Lisa (David) Grainge and Amy Lasko; and 11 grandchildren.</p>
<p>She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends.</p>
<p>A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Southside Reformed Presbyterian Church, 6969 S. Meridian St., Indianapolis, Indiana 46217 (corner of Meridian Street and Southport Road), officiated by Pastor Gordon Keddie.</p>
<p>Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin is assisting the family with arrangements.</p>
<p>In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org.</p>
