<p>INDIANAPOLIS</p>
<p>Mary Ella Ward, 85, of Indianapolis, died Monday, Aug. 1, 2016.</p>
<p>She is survived by her husband, William A. Ward Jr.; children, Patty Ward, Nancy Vickers and Susan Robinson; brother, Edwin Echols Jr.; sister, Kitty Rafeisen; eight grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.</p>
<p>Mary was preceded in death by her son, David W. Ward.</p>
<p>Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home, 1605 S. State Road 135, with the service immediately following. Entombment will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.</p>
