<p>INDIANAPOLIS</p>
<p>John Copeland Holmes, 91, died Thursday, Aug. 25, 2016, in Franklin. He was a resident of Indianapolis.</p>
<p>Survivors include two daughters, Suzy Mills (Carl) of Carmel and Kathy Emison (Jim) of Birmingham, Alabama; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.</p>
<p>He was preceded in death by his wife, Sara Jane Lowden Holmes.</p>
<p>A graveside service and burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Green Lawn Cemetery, Frankfort.</p>
<p>Funeral arrangements are being handled by Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, Franklin.</p>
<p>Contributions may be made to the Indiana Masonic Home or to the charity of donor’s choice.</p>
