<strong>Warriors fall in three</strong>

Despite 13 digs from Elaina Robards and Tabby Holzhausen’s 12 assists, Whiteland was swept by Southport on Wednesday, 26-24, 25-14, 25-15.

<strong>Trojans stay atop MIC</strong>

Center Grove maintained its perfect Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference mark by beating Lawrence North on Tuesday, 25-22, 18-25, 25-12, 25-20.

Devynn Merriman had 28 digs and Madison Hammill totaled 48 assists for the Trojans (12-7, 5-0). Ellen LeMasters had a strong all-around performance with 16 kills and 19 digs.

<strong>Lancer wins MHC title </strong>

Edinburgh’s Carlos Pazmino pulled off a pair of upset victories to win the Mid-Hoosier Conference singles championship Wednesday.

Pazmino topped No. 1 seed Austin Swain of Waldron in the semifinals, 7-5, 6-4, then rallied in the title match to defeat second-seeded Caleb Tennell of Southwestern (Shelby), 5-7, 6-1, 10-8.

<strong>Brownsburg edges Center Grove</strong>

Though it got victories at No. 2 and No. 3 singles from Nic Ballesteros and Mitch Runkle, Center Grove suffered a 3-2 defeat against Brownsburg on Wednesday afternoon.
<h4><strong>Franklin College</strong></h4>
<strong>Volleyball cruises to victory</strong>

Brooke Harvey, Amanda Lelivelt and Gab Arthur each recorded six kills as part of a balanced attack that propelled the Franklin College volleyball team to a 25-13, 25-21, 25-13 home sweep of St. Mary-of-the-Woods on Wednesday.

Libby Stahl paced the Grizzly Cubs (8-6) defensively with 16 digs.

<strong>Women’s tennis routs Anderson</strong>

Down 2-1 after the doubles matches, Franklin swept all six singles spots to secure a 7-2 triumph against Anderson on Wednesday.

Karen Dringenburg, Rachel Rose, Alexa Schofner, Megan Battles, Ashley Sadler and Brianna Hutton were all victorious in their respective matches. Dringenburg and Rose also earned a point at No. 1 doubles.
