<strong>Chili cook-off slated at Edinburgh church</strong>

<strong>Edinburgh Separate Baptist Church,</strong> 905 S. Main St., Edinburgh, will offer a trunk or treat and chili cook-off Oct. 22.

The event will be 6 to 8 p.m.

Also, the church’s Financial Peace University classes are currently underway.

<strong>Annual craft bazaar, bake sale scheduled</strong>

<strong>Brown County Community Church,</strong> 2370 Main St., Helmsburg, will host the annual craft bazaar and bake sale 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 5.

Unique handcrafted items and homemade treats will be available.

Food also will be available for purchase for lunch or a snack.

<strong>Celebration of Hymns features organist</strong>

<strong>Hopewell Presbyterian Church,</strong> 548 West 100 North, Franklin will present A Celebration of Hymns program on Nov. 13.

Eric Wyse, organist at First Presbyterian Church in Columbia, Tennessee, a pianist, composer and producer, will provide music during worship at 10:30 a.m. and will be featured in a concert at 3 p.m.

The concert will include solo pieces on organ and piano, choir numbers and a hymn sing with audience participation.

All are welcome. A free-will offering will be taken.
