<h4><strong>Church hosting Marine</strong></h4>
<strong>Fair Haven Christian Church,</strong> 1476 W. County Road 300 South, Franklin, will host guest speaker former Marine Cpl. Josh Bleill at 6 p.m. Nov. 13.

Bleill will deliver an inspirational talk about his life story.

<h4><strong>Church putting on musical</strong></h4>
<strong>Our Lady of the Greenwood Church,</strong> 335 S. Meridian St., Greenwood, will present "Sing Down the Moon, an Appalachian Wonder Tale" at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 17 to 19.

The musical set in the Appalachian Mountains weaves six traditional tales of mountain lore and wisdom appropriate for the whole family.

Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for children (11 and under) and are available at the door and at <a href="http://thelittleboxoffice.com/agape">thelittleboxoffice.com/agape</a>.
<h4><strong>Get good eats at church event</strong></h4>
<strong>Greenwood United Methodist Church, 525 N.Madison Ave.,</strong> will offer the church’s annual Santa’s cookies and gifts event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 3.

Homemade cookies will be available for $5/lb, as well as cheese balls, sweet breads, fudge and more.

There will also be crafts, toys and books for kids.

Vendor tables are available.
