Monna Gaye Byrd

<p>Monna Gaye Byrd, age 69, of Greenwood, passed away at her home Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016.</p>
<p>Gaye was born March 20, 1947, in Shelbyville, to John Thomas Graham and Arlie Janice (White) Graham.</p>
<p>On June 26, 1965, she married Danny Paul Byrd, who preceded her in death on April 22, 2013.</p>
<p>Gaye worked as an administrative coordinator for the Department of Agriculture for over 20 years.</p>
<p>She also attended Community Church of Greenwood.</p>
<p>Survivors include her sons, Tim Byrd of Chatham, Illinois, John “Scott” (Jayne) Byrd of Indianapolis and Adam (Donna) Byrd of Greencastle; and nine grandchildren, Sierra, Kennedy, Nicole, Jordan, Henry, Ethan, Landon, Ruby and Chloe.</p>
<p>Gaye was preceded in death by her husband; one brother, John Gary Graham; and one sister, Donna Raye Graham.</p>
<p>A memorial gathering will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at The Walker Cottage, 475 W. Main St., Greenwood.</p>
<p>Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Services and Crematory, Greenwood Chapel has been entrusted with all arrangements.</p>
