<h4><strong>Doctor joins southside hospital</strong></h4>
A southside hospital has a new cardiologist.
Louis F. Janeira, has joined Franciscan Physician Network Indiana Heart Physicians.
He is board-certified in cardiology, cardiovascular disease and electrophysiology. He most recently was on the medical staffs at Union Hospital and Regional Hospital in Terre Haute and a member of Providence Medical Group. Prior to that, he served with hospitals in Indianapolis, western Kentucky and was director of electrophysiology at the former St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville.
He received his undergraduate degree at Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey, and earned his medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine in New York City. He completed an internal medicine residency at Jersey City Medical Center followed by advanced training in cardiology and electrophysiology at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in New Jersey.
