GCA to explore adding team

Greenwood Christian announced Monday that it will be assembling an exploratory committee to look into the possibility of adding football at the school, with hopes of playing a full schedule by the fall of 2023.

According to the tentative timeline proposed by athletic director Devin Gray, GCA would begin a year-round strength and conditioning program for interested middle and high school players during the 2021-22 school year, then play a condensed schedule during the 2022 season.
