Pauline Pearl (Green) Clem

MORGANTOWN

Pauline Pearl (Green) Clem 91 of Morgantown, IN passed away Thursday May 20, 2021 at the Indiana Masonic Home at Compass Park in Franklin, IN.

She was born April 2, 1930 in Union Township, Johnson County, Indiana to Joseph and Della (Eastridge) Green. She graduated high school at Union Township in 1948 and this is where she met her husband, George W. Clem. They were married on February 4, 1951 and farmed in Union Township, Johnson County, he preceded her in death on April 25, 1989. To this union were born four sons, Donald, twins Michael and Mark and Tony. From there they resided in Michigan and Iowa before returning to the farm in 1975.

Pauline was a lifetime and charter member of Union Village Order of the Eastern Star #584 in Providence, IN and a devoted member of Providence Christian Church. She also volunteered at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin at the reception desk.

Survivors include her sons Mike Clem (Sandy) of South Sioux City, Nebraska and their children Christopher Clem (April) of Omaha, NE, Shannon Martin (Brent) of Omaha, NE and Trisha Engle of Dakota City, NE, and Tony Clem (Robin) of Indianapolis, Indiana, daughter-in-law Sharon Clem of Morgantown, IN and her children Lana Jochim (Peter) of Morgantown, IN and Ashley Boner (Zach) of Morgantown, IN. Pauline was blessed with 11 great grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters Ruth Westcott of Franklin, IN and Evelyn Hardin of Franklin, IN and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Della (Eastridge) Green, her loving husband George and two sons Donald Clem and Mark D. Clem, a sister Elizabeth J. “Libby” Henninger and a brother George Green.

Pastor Seth Moorman conducted a private service with burial at Harris Cemetery in Union Township, Johnson County, IN.

The family request memorial contributions be made to the Providence Christian Church 4080 West County Road 100 North, Bargersville, IN 46106.
