<p>Local green thumbs can get their plants at an upcoming plant sale.</p>
<p>Trafalgar Country Gardeners are planning a plant sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m May 19 at Trafalgar United Methodist Church, 387 Pleasant St.</p>
<p>A variety of vegetable starts and potted flowering plants will be available for sale. Free vegetable seed packets also will be available.</p>
<p>Plants are provided by members of the Trafalgar Country Gardeners. Proceeds fund club projects, such as sponsorship of the annual Youth Garden Club, maintenance of demonstration gardens at the Johnson County fairgrounds, and free public talks by gardening experts throughout the year.</p>
