<p>A local train hobbyist group is offering the community train rides through the woods, prairies and a park on the south side of the county.</p>
<p>Indiana Live Steamers is having a community run day from noon to 4 p.m. May 19. Rides are $3 and will leave from the McClain Station in Johnson County Park in Edinburgh.</p>
<p>The group runs community ride days on the third Saturday of each month, except August and for special events at the park.</p>
<p>Indiana Live Steamers operate and maintain small replicas of trains, capable of carrying passengers. They run the trains on tracks at the Johnson County Park.</p>[sc:text-divider text-divider-title="Story continues below gallery" ]
<p>Those riding on trains should expect about a 15 minute, nine mile ride ride through the park, including through prairies, wooded areas and over bridges.</p>
<p>All passengers are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing. Shoes are required.</p>
