<p><strong>Trojans edge Artesians</strong></p>
<p>Solo home runs from Ryan Sauter and Bryce Eblin were just enough to get Center Grove a 2-1 win at Martinsville on Friday.</p>
<p>Eblin also picked up a save in relief of Hunter Burnett, who allowed just one hit for the Trojans (13-5).</p>

<p><strong>Woodmen pay Panthers back</strong></p>
<p>Greenwood scored a big 4-2 victory on Friday over a Jennings County team that had beaten the Woodmen 10-2 just two weeks ago.</p>
<p>The Panthers tied the game up at 2-2 in the top of the sixth, but the Woodmen (4-15) got those runs back in the bottom of the frame to secure the win for Karlee Denham, who allowed just four hits. Kiley Hankenhoff hit a two-run homer for Greenwood.</p>
<p><strong>Warriors can’t slay Dragons</strong></p>
<p>Whiteland held its own with reigning Class 3A state champ New Palestine on Friday, getting within a run halfway through before a 10-run fourth inning sent the Warriors to a 12-1 defeat.</p>
<p>Addie Csikos drove in the lone run for Whiteland (3-13).</p>
<p>Girls tennis</p>
<p><strong>Braves take care of Greencastle</strong></p>
<p>Indian Creek rode a singles sweep to a 4-1 win over Greencastle on Friday. Katie Burkman, Ali Harris and Addie Rund claimed the three points, with Burkman and Harris winning in straight sets.</p>
<p>Brooke Coy and Julia Sheets were victorious at No. 2 doubles for the Braves.</p>
