Mary Jo (Culley) Farris of Greenwood, IN passed away on Friday May 4th at Franklin United Methodist Community in Franklin, IN.
</p>
<p>
She was born on March 13, 1925 to John and Matilda Culley. She married Lloyd E. Farris in 1942. They were happily married until his death in 2002. She worked at RCA building radio tubes during WWII. She worked over 50 years along side of her husband in their food concession business at state and county fairs from Michigan to South Carolina every spring and summer. She raised three sons Frank E. Farris (Betty), Michael R. Farris (Michele), and Richard N. Farris (Joann). She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd, thirteen brothers and sisters, her son Frank and his wife Betty. She also had ten grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, many great-great grandchildren. She was a long-time member of The First Baptist Church of Greenwood. She attended regularly until her health started failing.

Funeral services for Mrs. Farris will be held on Thursday, May 10, at 11:00 AM at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Greenwood Chapel. The family will receive guests at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, May 9, from 4:00-8:00 PM and on Thursday morning from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service. Entombment will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
