But the spacious, wide-open natural spaces are still safe, and going outdoors can work wonders for your mental health.</p><p>Take some time to explore this 149-acre nature preserve in southern Johnson County. The preserve is a large, unbroken hardwood forest block, which is rare in central Indiana. The forest is a key resting spot for migratory birds and a home for nesting birds.
