MOORESVILLE
Juanita Simpson, 90, of Mooresville, passed away on May 25, 2021. She was born on April 14, 1931 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Chestley and Ada Viola Coates.
She is survived by her children, Edna (Dan) Francis, George Simpson, and Paul (Sharanne) Simpson; 10 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and siblings, Tom Coates and Sarah Jane Barnett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Edmond Simpson and son, Harold David Simpson.
She was a long time member of Greenwood Presbyterian Church where she sang in church choir and was involved in various women’s groups. Juanita also enjoyed growing flowers, painting, and drawing trees.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the service time on Friday, May 28, 2021 at 1:00 PM at G. H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home, 1605 S. State Road 135. She will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
