<p><strong>Locals miss cut at Western Junior</strong></p>
<p>Center Grove graduates Sam Jean and Noah Gillard fell short of the cut line after the second round of the Western Junior Championship in Skokie, Illinois on Wednesday.</p>
<p>Jean shot a 4-over-par 74 in round two to finish with a total of 145, three strokes off of the cut. Former Trojan teammate Gillard was one shot back at 146 after shooting a second straight 73. The top 44 players in the 156-man field advanced to today’s third round.</p>
