Ronald H. Wick Sr., 77, of Greenwood, entered into eternal rest on October 19, 2018.
</p>
<p>
He was born on August 10, 1941 in Marion County, Indiana to the late William A. Wick and Minnie Maxine Timmons.
</p>
<p>
Ron married Virginia L. Slevin on June 16, 1967.
</p>
<p>
He was a member of Greenwood Christian Church and UAW #23. He worked for General Motors for 30 years as a Utility Lineman, retiring in 1998.
</p>
<p>
Ron enjoyed model airplanes, playing baseball, and his beloved dog, Missy.
</p>
<p>
Survivors include his loving wife, Virginia L. (Slevin) Wick; four children, Ronald H. Wick Jr., Suzanne E. (Paul) Bridgewater, William Scott (Joellyn) Wick, and Sean Patrick (Nikki) Wick; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren, and sister, Eleanor Sue Thurman.
</p>
<p>
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Christian Sean Wick.
</p>
<p>
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at G. H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home at The Gardens of Olive Branch, 1605 S. State Road 135.
</p>
<p>
Ron will be laid to rest at The Gardens at Olive Branch Cemetery & Mausoleum Park.
</p>
<p>
Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or Kindred Hospice.
</p>
