Indianapolis man arrested after methamphetamine found in his vehicle

<p>An Indianapolis man was arrested after police found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in his vehicle.</p><p>Thomas Jonathon Hankins, 33, 110 S. Bradley Ave., was arrested on charges of driving while suspended, restricted use of a drug injection device, possession of paraphernalia and possession of cocaine/narcotics/methamphetamine. Two of the charges are felonies.</p><p>A Johnson County sheriff’s deputy stopped the vehicle while heading south on State Road 37 near Stones Crossing Road in Greenwood at 9:18 a.m. Wednesday.</p><p>Hankins’ driver’s license was suspended and he was wanted to face a criminal charge in Florida, according to a report from the Johnson County Sheriff’s office.</p><p>Hankins was arrested. A deputy searched his vehicle and found a digital scale, two syringes, more than five grams of methamphetamine and five pills, the report said. </p><p>Hankins was taken to the Johnson County jail, where he was held on $13,000 bond.</p>
