<p>Franklin College will be accepting food drive donations as admission to sporting events.</p>
<p>The college athletic training program will be accepting food drive donations at the women’s and men’s basketball games starting at 2 and 4 p.m. today, instead of the regular $5 admission.</p>
<p>Two food items are required in order for the ticket cost to be waived. </p>
<p>The college goal is to collect 500 items to donate to the food pantry. Food items donated must be non-perishable and no glass containers will be accepted. Items in high demand include canned meats, soups, peanut butter and oatmeal, as well as paper towels.</p>
<p>Donations will benefit the Interchurch Food Pantry of Johnson County. </p>
