GREENWOOD
Donna M. (Waltz) Henderson, 79, of Greenwood, IN, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021 in Franklin, IN. She was born on May 25, 1942 in Franklin, IN to the late Golden and Veva (Chitwood) Waltz.
On April 4, 1963, she married Charles Earl Henderson, Jr. at The First Baptist Church of Greenwood. They were married for 58 wonderful years.
Donna loved to read and enjoyed a number of outdoor activities like camping, hiking, riding her bicycle, playing tennis, and traveling. She especially loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Charles, of Greenwood, IN; her son, Chip Henderson of Greenwood, IN; her daughter, DeMaris Gaunt of Nashville, IN; three grandchildren, Jayden Green, Isaac Schwager, and Will Gaunt; three great-grandchildren, Oliver, Ema, and Wes; her sister, Diana Kare of Arkansas; two brothers, Darryl Waltz of Greenwood, IN and Doug Waltz of Indianapolis, IN.
Friends and family can gather on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at 12:00pm for a funeral service at Jessen Funeral Home ~ Whiteland Chapel with visitation from 10:30am to 12:00pm. A private family burial will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Greenwood, IN.
Per Jessen Funeral Home, social distancing regulations are recommended with guests maintaining a minimum of 6 feet apart from one another. Masks are required when requested by the family. No food is permitted at this time.
