BARGERSVILLE
Stephen C. Robbins of Bargersville, IN passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by loving family on Monday, June 14, 2021 after suffering a chronic illness. Stephen was born on July 10, 1959 to Hugh F. Robbins, Jr. & Betty Lee (Sparks) Robbins, who have both preceded him in death.
Stephen was employed at Red Rock Sulfur Springs as a meat cutter for many years. He went on to holding jobs in the restaurant and hotel industry cooking and catering meals, and in office upkeep.
Stephen loved people, and always had a smile on his face. He never knew a stranger and was a delight to be around. His generosity and positive attitude were contagious and he was loved by all who knew him.
Stephen was a huge movie buff who loved Dr. Who and all things action and science fiction. He loved to cook, loved saving money with his couponing, and loved a good fireworks show. Stephen enjoyed spending time with family and loved talking about his sister’s backyard farm and animals.
He is also preceded in death by two of his sisters, Sandra Kay Muncie and Anna Marie Garvin.
Stephen is survived by his immediate family, sister, Alice Huff, her husband Joe, and their sons, Anthony, Jonathan, and Kristopher of Bargersville, IN, his sister Rosemary Robbins of Lake Zurich, IL, and brother David Robbins of Indianapolis, IN. In addition, he is survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.
