Eleanor Wildman, 95 passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, June 20th, 2020 surrounded by her loving son and daughter at her residence at Morning Pointe in Franklin, Indiana.
</p>
<p>
She was born on June 7th, 1925 in Loogootee, Indiana in Daviess County to Walter and Beatrice (Seal) Burch.
</p>
<p>
Eleanor married Omer Wildman on October 9th, 1945. He preceded her in passing on January 21st, 2009.
</p>
<p>
She is survived by son, Ronald D. Wildman (Nanci); daughter, Mary A. Spears (Thomas); daughter-in-law, E. Gail Wildman; grandchildren, Deirdre Wildman, Alyssia Wildman, Matthew Wildman (Courtney), Sarah Milner (Chris), Reagan Higdon (Kyle), Suzanne Smith (David) and Joseph Spears (Luci). Also surviving are great-grandchildren, Aidan, Bear, Ryan, Joel, Grayson, Monroe, Madilynn, Eleanor and Mina. She is survived by one sister, Margaret Walton of Loogootee, Indiana.

She was preceded in passing by her parents; husband, Omer; son, Michael L. Wildman and by brothers, Joe, Charles, Thomas, John and James Burch and sister, Rita Abplanalp.
</p>
<p>
She attended Montgomery High School in Montgomery, Indiana.
</p>
<p>
Eleanor and Omer moved to Franklin in 1947 where she began working for Varyinet Mills in Franklin. In February, 1953 she and Omer established "Wildman Jewelry" in Franklin which remained for many years, with their son Ron continuing to run in Franklin after their retirement in 1987.
</p>
<p>
Eleanor was the oldest living member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. She was a member of the St. Rose Altar Society and for many years assisted with work inside and outside the Rectory. She truly enjoyed serving funeral meals to parish families.
</p>
<p>
A very caring person, she especially enjoyed doing things for others outside of her family, especially enjoyed serving meals at the Wheeler Mission in Indianapolis.
</p>
<p>
Father Steve Schaftlein will conduct a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, June 25th, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 114 Lancelot Drive, Franklin, Indiana 46131. Friends and family may call on Wednesday evening, June 24th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 114 Lancelot Drive, Franklin, Indiana 46131 and/or to Morning Pointe, Activity Fund, 75 S. Milford Drive, Franklin, Indiana 46131.
</p>

The family would like to thank Morning Pointe for their love and care of "Mom" the last three years.
