Rosemary (Bingham) Ribelin, 86, passed away surrounded by her loving family on June 28, 2020 in Franklin. She was a longtime resident of Franklin and Indianapolis.
</p>
<p>
She was born on August 8, 1933 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Remester Alexander Bingham and Joy Dorothy (Reed) Bingham. They preceded her in passing.
</p>
<p>
Rosemary married Richard Grant Ribelin on August 16, 1957. He preceded her in passing on August 17, 2005.
</p>
<p>
She is survived by her daughters, Pamela Joy Ribelin and Karen Sue Waddell (Brian Scott); grandchildren, Christopher John Hampton, Amanda Rose Hampton (Jay Douglas Boyd), and Nathanial James Bray (Ashely); great-grandchildren, Melanie Rose Hampton and Hailey Sue Hampton.

Rosemary is preceded in passing by her parents; husband, Richard; and siblings, Joy Elizabeth Seifring, Carol Dorthey Watson, and James Bingham.
</p>
<p>
She graduated from Broad Ripple High School.
</p>
<p>
Rosemary worked for Franklin College for many years as the bookstore director. She was also the secretary to the president of Franklin College. She was an avid supporter of Franklin College. Prior to working for Franklin College, she worked as the office supervisor at Phoenix Insurance Company.
</p>
<p>
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile, and the Delta Pheta Tau sorority. She was also a member of the Shiloh Community Church. Rosemary served as a Deaconess and Sunday School Teacher for the church. She was very active in the Girl Scouts and PTA for her daughters’ schools. She was a fundraiser for many organizations.

<p>
Rosemary loved her family. She had a huge heart, and opened her home to anyone who needed it. She enjoyed playing on her iPad as well as grading papers for Pam’s classes. She was known for putting stickers on the graded papers.
</p>
<p>
A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton Street (U.S. 31) Franklin, Indiana 46131. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin following COVID-19 guidelines. Entombment will follow the service at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.
