Woman arrested after family wakes up to find her in their house

<p>A Greenwood family woke up Saturday morning to a woman they did not know in their house. </p><p>Alexis R. Charvat-Jobson, 31, was arrested on a felony charge of residential entry after she walked into a home in the 3300 block of Streamside Drive. </p><p>About 6:30 a.m. Saturday, a deputy was dispatched to the Center Grove-area subdivision on a reported burglary, according to a Johnson County Sheriff’s Office report. The caller told dispatch they woke up to find a woman, later identified as Charvat-Jobson, in their house, going room to room upstairs, the report said. </p><p>A homeowner was able to get the woman out of the house and follow her until a deputy arrived, according to the report. </p><p>A deputy met Charvat-Jobson a couple houses down, near Streamside Drive and Shelby Circle, the report said. </p><p>She told the deputy she was looking for her friend’s house, but did not know her friend’s last name or where she lived. She said the front door was unlocked, so she entered the house trying to locate her friend, but realized she was in the wrong house, according to the report. </p><p>The deputy asked Charvat-Jobson if she knew where she was. Answers included Indianapolis, Bargersville and Greenwood, the report said.</p><p>Charvat-Jobson became frustrated, at one point blaming the homeowners for leaving their house unlocked, according to the report. &quot;That is why locks are on doors,&quot; the deputy said she told him.</p><p>She said she had recently moved to Mooresville from Noblesville, but was unable to provide the Mooresville address where she lives, the report said.</p><p>Charvat-Jobson, 35 Chisholm Trail, Mooresville, was taken to the Johnson County jail, where she has since been released on $1,200 bond, Sheriff Duane Burgess said.</p>
