<p>
Carol began her career as an elementary school teacher for Whiteland Community School Corporation, after earning her Master’s Degree in Education from Indiana University. She stepped back from teaching in 1973 to pursue a career that was closer to her heart, and would epitomize her loving nature: motherhood. Later, Carol was co-owner and office manager of Kitchens By Teipen in Greenwood.
</p>
<p>
She was a devoted member of Community Church of Greenwood. She was involved in its discipleship and shepherding ministries, and also volunteered at The Gathering Place. She found great fulfillment with her Kitchen Table Bible Study group, and looked forward to their weekly time together.
</p>
<p>
She was so calm and gentle, never seeming to be annoyed and always offering a listening ear and sound advice. Her love was focused on nurturing her children and grandchildren and encouraging them to trust in the Lord. She personified a Proverbs 31 wife. Her legacy will live on through her children and grandchildren.
