Mirta Luz Avila Pino, 74, of Bargersville, IN passed away September 10, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. She was born May 12, 1946 in Chorombo, Chile to her father Sergio Hernan Pino Ulloa and her mother Maria Luisa Encina, they preceded her in death.

She married the love of her life Pedro Alberto Avila Tolosa on April 27, 1965 in Maipu, Chile.
</p>
<p>
During their 55 years of marriage they had three wonderful children Pedro "Pete" Avila of Greenwood, IN, Patricia "Patty" Avila of Bargersville, IN and Claudio Avila and his wife Sara of Greenwood, IN; four grandchildren Jessica Avila, Dana Avila Sims and her husband Trevor, Christian Avila and Nicole Avila; one step- grandchild Tatiana Leyva; and four great grandchildren Taylor Sims, Tiffany Sims, Trevor Sims II and Trenton Sims; six brothers; four sisters and many nieces and nephews.

Mirta and her family moved to the United States in January of 1976. They settled their family in Bargersville, IN where they become loyal members of Bargersville First Christian Church. Mirta was extremely strong in her faith to the Lord. She enjoyed tending to her flowers, gardening and cooking. Her favorite activity was spending time with her family and dear friends. Mirta was and incredible wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She will be dearly missed and forever loved.

Pastor Dustin Hite will conduct a private family service on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Bargersville First Christian Church, 101 East Street, in Bargersville, IN. Friends may call Friday, September 18, 2020 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN. The service will be available to view on Monday September 21, 2020 at 10 a.m. at <a href="http://www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/mirta-avila">www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/mirta-avila</a>. Due to COVID-19 mandates facial coverings or mask are required for those attending the visitation at the mortuary. Burial will be Cementerio Catolico De Maipu in Santiago, Chile.
